Dr. Asia Martin, PT, DPT
I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a passion for all things pelvic health and women’s wellness. I completed specialized training in pelvic health through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute and bring a fresh, evidence-based perspective to my care.
I have also completed my OB-Ante course (Physical Therapy for the Pregnant Patient) and am currently working toward my CAPP-OB certification (Certificate of Advanced Practice in Physical Therapy in Obstetric Health).

I am especially interested in prenatal and postpartum care, with an emphasis on birth preparation, as well as urinary incontinence and pelvic pain, including dyspareunia.

Outside of the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my family and dog, hiking, watching movies and trying new restaurants.
My Treatment Style
I take a highly collaborative and informative approach to your care, making sure you understand the “why” behind everything I’m doing. I believe you should feel like an active participant in your treatment—not just being told what to do—and I prioritize creating a space where you feel comfortable asking questions and fully involved in your care.

I’m also very aware that pelvic floor therapy can feel vulnerable, and I make a conscious effort to create a calm, supportive environment where you can feel at ease. I keep my treatment style flexible, adjusting plans based on your needs instead of taking a rigid one-size fits-all approach.

I also believe that, when appropriate, a little humor can help lighten the experience and make sessions feel more comfortable, relaxed and approachable—without ever losing sight of your comfort and goals.
