Dr. Bailee Burningham, PT, DPT, PWCS, PRPC

I’m the owner and founder of Bonneville Pelvic Health, which I created to build the kind of space I wanted for my own patients—one where people know they’re working with true experts who are deeply passionate about pelvic health and committed to providing thoughtful, individualized care.

I’ve always been fascinated by the pelvis—there are so many systems interacting in one place. The spine connects here, the bladder and bowel are regulated, sexual function is influenced, hips attach, and during pregnancy and birth, it becomes even more complex. Early in my doctoral training at the University of Utah, I had the opportunity to observe a pelvic floor physical therapist, and the experience completely shifted how I saw the body. I watched her evaluate and treat patients through a lens I had never been exposed to before, and it immediately clicked. Since then, I’ve never looked back.

Outside of the clinic, I love hiking or going to the park with my husband, Kit, and our toddler, Casper.

My Treatment Style

What continues to draw me to this work is the combination of anatomical complexity, the wide variability in how symptoms present, and the importance of mental and emotional well-being in the healing process. I also genuinely enjoy teaching—helping patients understand what’s going on in their body in a way that changes how they think about their symptoms and what’s possible moving forward.

My approach to care is thoughtful, collaborative, and rooted in looking at the whole person—not just isolated symptoms. I focus on helping you understand your body, feel confident in your plan of care, and make meaningful, lasting progress.
